‘Motherland’ is a project about Sindi’s home country, Albania. On a recent visit to Tirana, Sindi decided to capture her surroundings showing the streets of Albania. Fascinated by Albania’s long and tough history, Sindi aimed to capture old bulidings, markets and the people that inhabit it. Growing up Sindi felt a disconnect to her country despite visiting it reguraly but as an adult Sindi has found a desire to connect to her culture and her people.
